Privacy Policy
Effective October 11, 2026
LeaveTime answers one question — what time do I need to leave to make my flight? It is built to do that without knowing who you are. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking. The one service we run only relays flight lookups, and it keeps no record of who asked.
Your trips
The flights you add, your starting point, and your travel preferences are stored on your device, in a container shared only with LeaveTime's own widgets and Live Activity. Deleting a trip deletes it; deleting the app deletes everything.
Your location
Location is used for one thing: driving time to the airport, and only when you choose Current Location as your starting point. The route is computed by Apple Maps on Apple's infrastructure under Apple's privacy terms; we never receive, store, or see your location. You can decline location access and enter an address, or skip the starting point entirely.
Flight and airport lookups
To show your flight's schedule, gate, and delays, LeaveTime sends the flight number, date, and airport to our relay at praptiyogi.app, which asks the flight-data provider (FlightAware) on the app's behalf. The relay keeps a short-lived copy of the flight data (minutes to a few hours, never more than a day) so travelers asking about the same flight share one lookup. It stores nothing about who asked: to stop abuse it counts requests per connection using a one-way hash of the IP address, which is overwritten every minute. Our hosting provider keeps standard web-server logs, as it does for every website.
To show live security-checkpoint waits, LeaveTime reads the wait-time pages that some airports publish. None of these requests carry an account, name, device identifier, or advertising identifier — only the flight or airport being asked about.
Notifications
Reminders and change alerts are scheduled locally on your device. No push service, no server, nothing leaves your phone.
Subscription
LeaveTime Pro is billed by Apple through your App Store account. We never see your payment details. Manage or cancel any time in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
What we never do
We do not collect analytics, show ads, sell or share data, fingerprint your device, or use any third-party SDK that does. There is nothing to opt out of, because nothing is collected.
Children
LeaveTime is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them — it does not collect personal information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
